Often, plantar fasciitis and heel spurs will notice an immense pain coming from the front or bottom or their heels. While heel spurs themselves do not cause pain, the changes made to your body mechanics can cause your muscles to become tight and swollen. To soothe your muscles and begin properly treating your condition, Dr. Tuvel may perform an ultrasound-guided injection to reduce inflammation and allow your body to begin healing.
